We are delighted to be supporting the Chartered Institute of Housing’s (CIH) Homeful campaign which is exploring ways to resolve and prevent all types of homelessness, including street homelessness.

According to The Homelessness Monitor (England 2022), published by Crisis, 282,000 single people, couples, or families were judged as homeless or threatened with homelessness by local authorities in 2020 to 2021. The total temporary accommodation placements continued to increase (up by 4% in 2020 to 2021), and bed and breakfast hotel placements rose very significantly by 37%.

The Homeful campaign is working with multiple residents, charities, agencies, and social housing providers to listen to the voices of people with experiences of homelessness and that’s why we need the support of our customers with expertise and lived experience in this area.

How you can get involved

There are two really easy ways you can bring your lived experience to this important campaign:

1. Take part in the CIH Homeful Tenants Survey by heading to this short questionnaire.
All responses remain anonymous, and it should take you between 10 and 15 minutes to complete.

2. Join Bromford colleagues and customers in a virtual Homeful Workshop on Thursday 7 July at 2pm.
To register your interest in this Zoom discussion, simply email customer involvement officer Delphine Guillemoteau at delphine.guillemoteau@bromford.co.uk. The workshop involves answering six themed questions and every customer with lived experience of homelessness that takes part will receive a £30 gift voucher.

We are delighted be involved with the Chartered Institute of Housing to support their Homeful campaign. This is a fantastic opportunity for our customers with experience of homelessness to participate in the questionnaire and also join the workshops to discuss the true meaning of a home.
