Customers are preparing to move into their new homes after the completion of the redevelopment of a former bingo hall and car showroom in the centre of Cheltenham.

Work has been completed the development of two new blocks of apartments in High Street, ready for new customers to move in. The larger four-storey block on the corner of Milson Street has 37 one and two-bedroom flats, while the smaller two-storey block has six one-bedroom flats. and are all available for social rent.

Work began on site in April 2019 and was carried out on our behalf by Mark Casey Ltd. The finished properties were handed over earlier this month. The development has been part-financed with funding from Homes England, with who Bromford is a strategic partner.

New flats in High Street, CheltenhamProject manager Marek Phillips said: “These homes have transformed this brownfield site, providing high-quality apartments right in the centre of town. Despite having to deal with two big storms, a global pandemic, and three lockdowns, Mark Casey has got the job finished and in spectacular fashion, which is great for our customers who are waiting to move in.

“These new homes are in a great location for customers within walking distance of the Brewery Quarter and providing easy access to other amenities. It’s a great development and I’m sure customers will be proud to call it home.”
