The risk of severe flooding continues to plague communities in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire in the aftermath of Storm Dennis.

If you live in an area at risk of flooding or which could be affected by service disruptions as a consequence of flooding, we are advising customers to take reasonable precautions such as assessing your home for any obvious repairs or leaks, contacting your local authority if you require any sandbags, and ensuring valuable items are moved to higher ground. Customers should also ensure building and contents insurance is in place and more information on how to arrange this can be found on our flooding advice page.

People can stay up-to-date on the latest flood warnings being issued across England by visiting the government’s Flood Information Service which is updated regularly.

If customers experience issues with flooding, please call your neighbourhood coach or our customer service centre on 0330 1234 034 who will be happy to assist you.
