Work has begun on a new housing development in a Worcestershire village.

Our in-house construction team has begun building work on 35 new homes on Hereford Road on the outskirts of Leigh Sinton. When completed the site, called Bluebell Walk, will be a mixture of two, three, and four bedroom homes.

Head of construction Simon Kershaw said: “This is a great site for us to provide additional housing in Worcestershire. It’s a wonderful location and we’re committed to building high quality homes that really add to the local community. We’ve made a good start and aim to have all the homes finished and ready for people to move into by February 2021.”

The finished development will be split between homes to rent and buy, with three homes available to buy through shared ownership. The homes are the second new development Bromford has begun in Worcestershire recently, having also started work on 30 new homes in Ombersley.

We are already one of the biggest housebuilding housing associations in the country and over the year ahead we plan to build 1,300 new homes across the Midlands and south west. It’s part of our strategy to build 6,500 in the period from 2019 to 2023.
