Customers in Patchway are being asked for their views on proposals to make changes to the area around a Bromford-owned local shopping precinct.

South Gloucestershire Council is running a consultation to replace the existing subway leading to The Parade with a new parallel crossing for pedestrians and cyclists. If the work goes ahead, we are proposing to carry out improvements to the communal areas by the Parade at the same time. This could include removing the existing raised brickwork beds, making repairs to any of the existing walls and steps, surfaces and pressure washing the pedestrianised square.

Depending on the result of the public consultation the council hopes to carry out the work in 2023 to 2024.
