We want all our colleagues to feel that this is a place where they belong, and where they can thrive.

Pay and financial wellbeing

It’s important to us that our colleagues feel they get paid fairly for the roles they do. So, we regularly benchmark salaries and review our pay each year to make sure it’s always competitive. As well as this, we offer:

  • Performance Related Pay bonus that rewards colleagues based on the organisation’s success as well as individual performance
  • A choice of pensions, with employer contribution rates of up to 10% of your salary
  • Life Assurance cover
  • An annual allowance of £500 which you can use towards a choice of benefits including private medical cover, dental treatment and gym membership
  • An online reward portal where you can save money on your shopping bills and receive cashback on purchases; everything from weekly supermarket shops to booking your next summer holiday

For some roles we may also provide:

  • A car or car allowance
  • A fully equipped van and fuel
  • A monthly allowance so you can buy drinks while you’re out and about in your role

Work-life balance

We understand the importance of a healthy work-life balance, and so for many of our roles, colleagues work their hours in a flexible, trust based way. In these jobs you are not bound by core hours or start and finish times; but you can work flexibly, as long as your work is completed.

Other ways we encourage a positive work life balance include:

  • Hybrid working for many of our roles, meaning each week you can work from one of our workspaces as well as from home
  • A generous holiday allowance of 27 days (this is in addition to the usual public holidays)
  • The opportunity to buy or sell up to 5 days of holiday allowance each year
  • Enhanced family leave policies

Health and wellbeing

The wellbeing of our colleagues is extremely important to us. That’s why we provide:

  • Occupational sick pay for up to 6 months
  • Occupational Health support and advice
  • Colleague assistance programme where you can access talking therapies, 24/7 GP and prescription service, and get advice about legal matters, mental health issues, debt advice, dietary and fitness guidance, childcare and much more.
  • More than 70 qualified Mental Health First Aiders who you can speak to whenever you need to

Career progression

We want all our colleagues to thrive, not only in their current roles but also growing into future roles with us too. That’s why we have a dedicated Learning and Development Team that supports you from initial onboarding, through to ongoing learning in your current role, and your future career development at Bromford. We offer:

  • Apprenticeships and professional qualifications
  • Internal job moves or secondment opportunities
  • Training courses for aspiring talent or future leaders
  • Sabbatical leave, as an opportunity to broaden your experiences

Where a professional membership is an essential part of your role, we will cover the cost for you.
