Berkeley House recently welcomed Avon Fire & Rescue Service for the first of four high-rise training days. The exercises gave firefighters the opportunity to practise essential rescue techniques in a realistic setting, using two of the building’s void flats on the top floor.
The training included simulated emergencies, allowing the team to test equipment and procedures safely while preparing for potential real-life situations in high-rise buildings. Bromford colleagues were on site to observe and support the exercises, helping ensure that safety processes at Berkeley House are fully understood and effective.
By working together on-site, both Bromford and Avon Fire & Rescue Service were able to share knowledge and practice responses, supporting safer outcomes for customers and reinforcing emergency preparedness in the building.
