A new partnership between ourselves and a major UK homebuilder will bring new affordable homes to a Warwickshire village.

We’ve teamed up with CALA Homes to deliver affordable homes at the housebuilders’ Priors Crescent development in Salford Priors. We’re taking on 35% of the total homes being built on the site, where construction is already underway.

The 24 homes we will be delivering will be a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom properties, with 14 social-rented homes, five affordable-rented homes and five shared ownership homes. The wider Priors Crescent development will bring a total of 68 high-quality homes to the area with a mixture of two – five bedroom homes.

Claire Studdart, Affordable Housing Manager at CALA Homes Midlands, said: “We’re delighted to have begun construction works at our Priors Crescent development, and are particularly pleased to be able to offer 35% of the homes as affordable housing units. The 24 properties will provide much-needed affordable homes to the local area, particularly for those who are looking to rent or buy, with shared ownership being a good opportunity to get on to the property ladder without needing a large deposit.

Located off of School Road in the village, the first homes at Priors Crescent are due to be completed in early 2020. Our rented homes will be available through the local authority’s choice-based lettings system.
