When to report a problem
Please contact us if:
- the inverter display shows a red warning light
- the inverter display is blank or has no lights showing
- you see an error message on the inverter
- you hear unusual noises from the equipment
- you suspect the system is not generating electricity
- you notice damage to the roof, solar panels, or surrounding area following severe weather
For your safety, please do not attempt to access the roof or remove debris yourself.
How to report an issue?
If you need to report an issue please get in touch.
Our team will guide you through the checks required and arrange further support if needed.
To help us identify the issue quickly, please provide:
- a photo of the inverter display
- confirmation of any fault or error messages shown
- confirmation that the inverter is powered on
- any recent electricity bills or generation readings (if available)
- a brief description of the issue and why you believe the system is not working
This information helps us determine whether there is a fault before arranging a contractor visit.
Why haven't my energy efficiency works been completed yet?
Many energy efficiency improvements, sometimes including Solar PV installations, are funded
through government grant schemes.
The contractors delivering these programmes assess whether properties meet the eligibility criteria
for funding.
Installation programmes are also dependent on:
- Property eligibility
- Resident availability and access arrangements
- Contractor scheduling and programme delivery
- Geographic rollout plans
Once a package of works has been identified, it will be reviewed with Bromford as the landlord.
However, the grant-funded contractor controls the timing and allocation of works.
If you have previously been contacted as part of ECO 4 works, please be aware this funding has
ended and no further works are taking place under this scheme.
Will my home receive energy efficiency improvements in the future?
Energy efficiency improvement programmes are being delivered to help homes achieve an EPC rating of C or above by 2030.
Works in your area may be included in future phases and will depend on your property's Energy
Performance Certificate (EPC) rating at the time of assessment.
If your property requires improvements, we will contact you directly with further information and
next steps. Further information can be found here: Energy efficiency improvements for your home
