Overview of responsibilities
Hi, I'm Omer and I am responsible for managing the cyber security activities at Bromford to protect data which belongs to customers, colleagues and the company like financial data, legal data and others. These activities include the administration of the security technologies, cyber risk management, vulnerability management processes, user awareness assessment activities, participating in the projects to support the project team in order to make sure that the project is designed and implemented in a secure fashion.
How has your career progressed?
I joined the business as a freelance consultant to fill a temporary position. As management decided to setup another division under the Tech Operations Department and appoint a leader for the team, I decided to apply for this fantastic role. I was pretty sure that I would be contributing well to Bromford with my previous experience as a leader and I knew the company already. That would be the best match for both sides and I happily joined the business as an employee and am willing to improve myself and the security posture of the company for many years.
