Designed and built by Taylor Wimpey to meet the needs of modern living, these homes will appeal to first-time buyers, couples, and families looking for a little extra space.

Friary Meadow is ideally located to cater for all needs, whether you want to explore the stunning Staffordshire countryside, shop at the many independent stores in the city, or take a look around one of the many historic sites in Lichfield. There is something for everyone.

Bromford Shared Ownership offers a simple, flexible approach to homeownership, making it easier than ever to own your own home in this sought-after location. You purchase the share of your dream home that suits you now and pay rent on the remaining share. When the time is right for you, you can buy more shares through a process called staircasing, increasing your ownership of the property until you own it outright.

Local Area Connection
Our shared ownership homes at Friary Meadow have been specifically built to meet the needs of local people and priority will be given to applicants who have a connection to Lichfield District Council.

The local area connection can vary between our developments but generally, it is based on you having been a resident (or employed within) the area for a number of years (usually between 2-5) or have family connections – for example, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild or adult sibling – who have lived in the area for at least three years.

Staircasing to own 100% of your home at Friary Meadow
Our homes at Friary Meadow are available to purchase from 25% to 75% shared ownership. Once your home is purchased you will have the option to increase the amount of your shared ownership home that you own. This is called Staircasing.

The greater the share you buy in your home the less rent you will pay to your home. Ultimately staircasing to buy 100% of your home, means you become an outright owner, and you will no longer need to pay rent.
