Changing the fuse in a plug is easy when you know how! This video will take you step by step through how to change a fuse in a plug if the fuse has blown. Follow our simple steps and most importantly, make sure your fuse replacement is the same amp as the one you are replacing.

“Have to change this fuse, so it’s the middle screw – unscrew it. Take the top off, it’s a 30 amp fuse.”

*Make sure you only use a plug and fuse of the correct amps to suit the appliance*

“Pull the fuse out like that. Put the fuse back in, that’s the fuse in. Put the lid back on, tighten it back up, and that’s the fuse changed.”

“It’s a sealed plug. All you do is put your screwdriver into the little slot, lift it up, lift it up with your finger, pull the fuse up, a replacement 5 amp”

“Clip it into that, put it on there like that, finger on either side and push it in – and that’s that fuse changed.”
