  • Although a village in name, Bishop’s Cleeve has the amenities of a small town, with independent shops, a supermarket, pubs and schools.

    Two miles away is Cheltenham Racecourse, the home of National Hunt racing, as well as host to a variety of other events and entertainment. The Regency town of Cheltenham, with its elegant architecture and landscaped parks, is less than five miles away. As a leisure and retail destination, Cheltenham has some of the best known high street brands alongside independent boutique shops, plus a fantastic selection of restaurants and cafes, cinemas, nightclubs and the Everyman Theatre.

    Cleeve Sports Centre at Cleeve School has a fully equipped gym and facilities to book including tennis courts. There’s also a village football club and bowling club, with Cleeve Hill Golf Club 3.5 miles away.                                                                     

    GP services can be found at the Cleevelands Medical Centre which has 14 clinical rooms, including consulting and nurse treatment rooms, as well as a suite for minor operations and an onsite pharmacy.  Cheltenham General Hospital is just five miles away. 

    There are two primary schools in the village, Grangefield Primary School and Bishop’s Cleeve Primary Academy. Children can go on to Cleeve School & 6th Form and, for post-18 education, the University of Gloucestershire has campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester.

    Bishops Cleeve is 6.5 miles to Jct 9 M5 at Tewkesbury and 5 miles to the A40 for Oxford, making it a good location for commuters. Cheltenham Spa railway station is just a five mile drive away and boasts excellent links to Oxford, London, Birmingham, Bristol and beyond.

If you are interested in applying for a home at Greenacres, Bishop's Cleeve, please follow the application process below.

  • Register with Help to Buy. If you have already done this please email your Help to Buy reference number to the Bromford Homes Sales Team in order for us to log your interest, or call us on 0800 0852 499.

  • The local area connection criteria varies between developments, but generally it’s based on:

    • Being a resident (or employed within) the area for a number of years (usually between 2-5).
    • Family connections – for example, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild or adult sibling – who have lived in the area for at least three years.

    For Greenacres, priority will be given to applicants who have a connection to Tewkesbury Borough Council.

  • As part of the application process you are required to carry out an affordability assessment and provide documents to support the application, TMP Mortgages will carry out this initial assessment.

    • Visit TMP Mortgages' website: www.tmpmortgages.co.uk
    • Click the Apply now button
    • Complete the online questionnaire

    Your assessment will then be allocated to the correct person and an advisor will then make contact with you within 24 hours (not including weekends) they will discuss options with you and request documents required to complete the application. All documents must be provided to TMP within five working days.

  • Once you have completed all of Step 3, TMP will provide you with a reference number to show you have provided all the documents and that you meet the criteria for shared ownership. Keep this number safe and write it down along with your Help to buy reference.

    Please email your Help to Buy and TMP reference Numbers to sales@bromford.co.uk along with confirmation of the development you are interested in.

    All applications will be processed in order of receipt based on when both reference numbers were provided. Unfortunately we may not be able to process your application if any of these steps have not been followed, or if any information is missing.
