  • The picturesque Cotswold town of Tetbury is steeped in history, with its 17th Century Market House taking pride of place in the centre of the town. In the surrounding streets you’ll find a variety of independent traders including a family butchers, cheesemongers and a shop selling produce from Prince Charles’s nearby Highgrove estate. In addition to a large number of antique shops there’s also an excellent choice of local bars, cafes and restaurants. 


    There’s plenty to see and do in the area as well. Westonbirt National Arboretum is around four miles away providing picturesque walks throughout the year plus regular events including the annual Forest Live music shows. The town itself has a food and drink festival as well as its popular Wacky Races soapbox race which takes place every May. 


    There’s a primary and secondary school in the town, with further education options available 10 miles away at Cirencester College.  


    Whitelands is a 25 minute drive away from the M4 which offers good access to Bristol, Bath and Swindon. The closest railway station is eight miles away at Kemble, which offers regular services to Gloucester and Swindon.

If you are interested in applying for a home at Whitelands, Tetbury please follow the application process below.

  • Register with Help to Buy. If you have already done this please email your Help to Buy reference number to the Bromford Homes Sales Team in order for us to log your interest, or call us on 0800 0852 499.

  • The local area connection criteria varies between developments, but generally it’s based on:

    • Being a resident (or employed within) the area for a number of years (usually between 2-5).
    • Family connections – for example, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild or adult sibling – who have lived in the area for at least three years.

    For Whitelands priority will be given to applicants who have a connection to Cotswold District Council.

  • As part of the application process you are required to carry out an affordability assessment and provide documents to support the application, TMP Mortgages will carry out this initial assessment.

    • Complete the online questionnaire

    Your assessment will then be allocated to the correct person and an advisor will then make contact with you within 24 hours (not including weekends) they will discuss options with you and request documents required to complete the application. All documents must be provided to TMP within five working days.
