We're delighted to have been named one of the biggest builders of affordable rented housing in the country once again.

Specialist housing sector magazine Inside Housing has this week published the results of its survey into the nation’s biggest housebuilding housing associations. After completing a record 1,265 homes during 2022-23 we have been named the country’s ninth biggest builder of  homes of all tenures and importantly the fifth biggest builder of affordable homes.

Of the homes Bromford built during the year, 554 were for social rent, the third highest in the country, social rented homes are the most affordable homes for customers. Among the social rent homes to be completed were 63 homes at Deansalde Farm in Lichfield, 44 homes at Grosvenor Place in Cirencester and 26 homes at the Leicester Street in Bristol.

Chief investment officer Martyn Blackman said:

The past year has been our most successful ever in terms of the number of new homes we have built, so it's great to be named one of the biggest builders of affordable housing in England once again.

We believe that everyone should have a home that is safe secure and affordable. With the right home people can achieve great things, which is why we have a commitment to prioritise the construction of homes for social rent, whenever and wherever we can. We have a really strong pipeline and are well placed to continue to increase the number of new affordable homes we build.
