Whitchurch is a village and suburb on the south of Bristol which dates back to the 1930s. Nowadays it’s a bustling village with lots to do throughout the week and ideally placed to access facilities and activities further afield in Bristol, Bath and beyond.
Our new development is easy within walking distance to a number local shops and restaurants and just a short drive away from Imperial Retail Park which counts Argos, B&Q and Boots among its shops. The nearest cinema is two miles away at Hengrove Leisure Park.
Whitchurch is home to a cricket club, junior football club and one of the best boxing academies in Bristol. Just a couple of miles away is Hengrove Park Leisure Centre which has an Olympic-sized swimming pool, gym and climbing wall, as well as running a variety of keep fit classes for all abilities throughout the week.
But our homes are just five miles from the centre of Bristol which boasts a huge selection of shops, amenities and leisure facilities. Enjoy musicals at the Bristol Hippodrome, live music at Colston Hall, a family day out at Bristol Zoo Gardens or the SS Great Britain, plus lots of live sports including football, rugby and cricket.
There’s also a full calendar of events taking place in the city including the popular harbour festival and balloon fiesta in the summer, to the winter Christmas market in the city centre.
Within a five mile drive of White Church Court there are a number of schools for primary and secondary aged children. The closest to our new homes is Whitchurch Primary School, rated good by Ofsted, and which offers breakfast and afterschool clubs to help fit in with your work commitments.
There are a number of doctors and dentists in the immediate area and the nearest hospital is South Bristol Community Hospital which is just a short drive away.
Whitchurch is ideally placed for commuting into the centre of Bristol as it sits on the A37 which takes you straight into the centre of the city. And its close proximity to the A4 means it’s just as easy to drive into Bath.
Local train stations are located at Keynsham and Bedminster and offer services into Bristol Temple Meads, which has regular services to London, Cardiff & Birmingham.
