THESE images show how Bromford’s new £10.5m retirement living scheme in Stourport will look in all its glory.

A selection of newly-released artists’ impressions depict the striking entrance design to the L-shaped development which will feature 60 high-quality retirement living apartments for over 55s. The computer generated images also show the approach to the scheme, ample car parking and the stunning inside space for eating, drinking, chatting or relaxing with friends.

Construction work is well underway at the multi-million pound scheme which is being built on land where Tan Lane Infants School, and later Stourport First School, stood for decades from 1897. The original school building is being renovated and converted into three apartments as part of the development.

The range of one or two bedroom apartments will include options for rent or purchase. Along with a café bistro, lounge, activity studio, gym and hair and beauty salon, School Gardens will provide residents with a safe, secure and happy home.

More than 200 people have already signalled their interest in School Gardens after turning up to an information day last month. On Friday 18th November members of the public are invited along to a coffee and cake afternoon between 2pm and 4pm at Hallmark Hotel, on Hartlebury Road in Stouport. People will be able to find out more about the scheme as well as begin to help Bromford shape the programme of social and leisure activities.

Penny Downing, Bromford’s sales and marketing director, said:

We’re thrilled to be able to unveil our vision for School Gardens – a modern and stylish development which is completely befitting of the local area and which we hope will create a vibrant and lively place for residents and the wider community to enjoy. Our retirement living homes are increasingly popular as they offer customers the opportunity to live in a diverse community where they can really retain their independence; safe in the knowledge that support is available if they need it.
