Getting a good night sleep is always puts you in a good mood the next day. It can help you be awake and active for the following day. But many of us have trouble sleeping. You could have a lot on your mind. One of these could be money worries.

StepChange are running a campaign to look at how worrying about money and debt has an affect on people’s daily lives. 74% of those who go to StepChange have said that worrying about their money has affected their sleep.  Some people have even waited a year before seeking advice.

It’s not just your forty winks that can be affected by money worries. Your relationships, health and work can also have an affect. Even the rise of living can make you think about how you’re going to cope with your finances for the next month.

StepChange are teaming up with a range of charities during this campaign such as Shelter and the Mental Health Foundation. They’re looking at the effects that sleep problems can have on your wider life.

To show you this, they’ve got Paul. On the Need To Sleep website, you can follow Paul’s journey through a typical day and how a lack of sleep can have an affect on their life.

Paul isn’t alone. He has colleagues and friends are noticing the effects on his life. The Need To Sleep website will show how talking to StepChange about his worries could help to put him back on track.
