Compton Verney, the award winning art gallery near Stratford upon Avon, has partnered with Pallant House Gallery on a national project called Outside In. Compton Verney will present the Outside In: Central exhibition in 2013.

Outside In aims to give a platform for artists who find it difficult to enter the art world. The unique display of works will be from artists in Central England who feel excluded from the art world for a number of reasons which may include health, disability or social circumstances.

The exhibition will be created from a selection of works submitted to an online gallery via the Outside In website. The deadline for entries is 20th July 2012.

If you are supporting a customer, or know of anyone who is an artist but feel they are excluded from the art world please encourage them to submit their work to the website. This is a fantastic opportunity for their work to be displayed in the gallery for all to see. For more information go to the Outside In website.

If you need help uploading entries to the website, the Outside In team are running a series of workshops around the region to help artists upload their work and help the artists’ put together their statements. Information about these workshops can be found below.
