Bromford has contracted a care provider that will offer around-the-clock support to residents at the site of a new multi-million pound retirement living development.
Radis Community Care will be partnering Bromford at our new £10.5m School Gardens retirement living scheme on Tan Lane, Stourport-on-Severn.
Following the award of the contract, Radis will now provide tailored packages to customers who require care on a 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week basis. And as well as tailored care packages, locally based staff will provide an emergency response service and additional ancillary services such as assisting residents with shopping, laundry and dog walking.
Construction at the historic site is progressing well and scaffolding on the historic school building, where Tan Lane Infants School stood for decades from 1897, is beginning to come down following its renovation. Overall, School Gardens will deliver 60 high-quality apartments for people aged 55 and over as well as a café bistro, lounge, activity studio, gym and hair and beauty salon. The range of one and two bedroom apartments include options for both rent and purchase.
Helen Shields, retirement living business manager, said: “Radis offer very bespoke services tailored to the individual which fits with our own ethos of developing a trusting relationship with each and every Bromford customer.
“Radis already work well with us at another retirement living scheme in Lichfield so we’re confident this will be a successful partnership which will ultimately help more customers stay independent in their own homes. We believe retirement living schemes like School Gardens, with its array of on-site facilities and optional care and support packages, offer people a far better alternative than residential care.”
Radis Community Care’s regional director for Wales & West, Paula Hoggarth, added: “We are really excited to be working in partnership with Bromford at this fantastic new state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Stourport. We’re an established family-run care provider and pride ourselves on delivering high quality care to those people we support.”
The grand opening of School Gardens will take place in spring 2018 and prospective residents are encouraged to call 01299 393456 or visit this page for further information.
