In October and November last year, we invited comments from our customers about a proposal to change our legal structure by merging Fosseway Housing Association with Bromford Housing Association.
We promised to publish the outcome of the consultation and the comments and views expressed by our customers. A summary of the 37 views and comments we received are here.
On 25 November, we considered all the comments received and in view of the feedback, agreed to continue the process towards the amalgamation.
Since then, we have let our regulator, the Homes and Communities Agency, know the outcome of this consultation and they have approved the amalgamation.
There are still a number of steps which we have to complete before the amalgamation of the legal structure can be finalised but we are currently on track and the Boards are expecting the legal process will be complete by 1 April 2015.
The planned amalgamation of Fosseway Housing Association and Bromford Housing Association is now complete.
On 1 April 2015 the associations’ officially merged bringing a close to the process which began in 2011 when Bromford Carinthia Housing and HomeZone were brought together to create Bromford Housing Association.
