If you’re unemployed or looking for the next step in your career, without guidance you might find yourself getting stuck in a rut. That’s why we’re launching work clubs in many of our communities, including our latest work club in Moreton-in-Marsh.
Taking place every Wednesday from 11am till 1pm at the Moreton Library, Stow Road, skills advisors are on hand to help local residents find employment and opportunities as well as giving CV and interview advice.
Attendees will also receive support using Bromford’s Connect website, an innovative social network which helps customers create online CVs and find local employers, much like LinkedIn.
The launch comes after the success of our Cirencester work club, which takes place every other Monday from 11am – 1pm at Cirencester library, on The Waterloo.
Alison Hammond from Cirencester became unemployed in December. As a new Bromford customer, Alison signed up to Bromford’s Deal and was desperate to get back into work.
She said, “I’m actively seeking employment at the moment, so I thought by attending the Cirencester work club, I’d get some great advice on building up my CV.
“The team were a great help to me, giving me as much time as I needed to ensure so that I could move forward with my job hunting.”
