Bromford Living is set to bring it's repairs and maintenance team in-house, making huge efficiency savings across the group.
This week Bromford is bringing its repairs team in-house, with 73 new colleagues who are joining our landscaping, repairs and maintenance teams from Lovells, Dodds, Glendales and Daniels.
This significant expansion will improve the already high quality service that our in-house repairs and landscaping teams deliver for customers. Bromford expect that the changes will make efficiency savings of £2.5m over five years, with further savings of £1.2m in VAT per annum that can be invested back into new homes and existing communities.
Bromford is adding 55 new vans to its fleet that will be fully equipped with the latest supplies and hand-held technology. We have also invested in new facilities in Telford, Chelmsley Wood, Andoversford and Wednesbury to provide extra storage and office space for its expanded repairs team.
Richard Hicks, Head of Bromford's Repairs Team said; "This marks the start of Bromford Living repairs and landscaping teams that will deliver services to all of our customers. Bringing our repairs and maintenance teams in-house will greatly improve our service delivery and moving forward we will be known as a team that not only gets the job done quickly, but also to a high standard".
