Bromford is pleased to announce that they have been shortlisted for two Housing Innovation Awards.
Their innovative approach to testing and developing new services, culminating in the introduction of their localities approach with a new role of neighbourhood coach at its heart has been shortlisted in the Most Innovative Housing Provider category for housing providers with over 10,000 properties.
Bromford’s MyPlace schemes have also been shortlisted; this time in the Most Innovative Supported/Sheltered Housing Scheme category. MyPlace provide homes for life for people living with long-term conditions such as a learning or physical disability or individuals with a mental health need.
Philippa Jones, Bromford’s chief executive said:
We believe that by offering the right home and building trusting relationships we can encourage every one of our customers to achieve their individual aspirations. In the face of an ever-shrinking welfare state it’s essential to explore different ways of working with our customers to help build their resilience and their personal and community support networks. We’re delighted that our innovative approach has been recognised by the shortlisting panel.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London’s Covent Garden on 8 February 2017.
