One of the UKs leading online retailers is hoping to fill hundreds of new roles in Rugeley, Cannock, and so we’ve teamed up with In Training to help local people nab themselves an interview and hopefully kick off their careers.

We will be holding an open day at our Stowe Road hub on Monday 3 November so customers can find out more about the vacancies and learn more about how they can bag themselves a temporary or permanent role.

Michael Pritchard, skills manager, will be working with Job Centre Plus, training provider In Training and specialist recruiter TransLine as part of the Wolverhampton Employment Partnership Group, which brings businesses  together to support local employment.

Michael told us, “It’s fantastic that through working together with Michelle and the In Training team, we are able to help our customers into work and even gain a qualification.”

Michelle Horton, business manager at In Training said: “This is the second year we have successfully put candidates in roles and the turnaround time from applying to getting into work can be as quick as 10 days. Last year, we placed 176 people into work in the space of three months. So far, 240 people have got a job.”

“We can help to support people financially for their first four weeks into work. If anyone is interested in a job, please contact us on 01142 898696. Recruitment will be ongoing for the next six weeks.”
