How to reset a boiler

From time to time you may need to reset your boiler, and it really couldn't be easier. Take a look at this video to find out how.

Before the reset note down the fault code displayed, e.g. F28 or F29, as this will be the reason the reset is needed and will need to be addressed - such as the example in this video of running out of gas. "Hello there my name’s Mark from Bromford and in this short video I’m going to show you how to reset your Vaillant ecotech pro 28 boiler in the event of you running out of gas."

"If you do run out of gas your boiler will be showing a fault code of F28, flashing. Obviously, you need to top up your gas meter first as you do normally."

"To reset your boiler simply press this little button here for two seconds. That’s your boiler reset now. It will clear the code and your boiler will run."
