“What you’ll need for this is a pair of grips, pair of adjustable spanners, a screwdriver, possibly a tap receipting tool and your new tap revivers.”

“First of all what we’re going to do is isolate the water, now if you have a combi boiler all you’ll need to do is isolate cold featured property which we’ve done in this instance, if you have a hot copper cylinder upstairs what you’ll need to do is turn the hot gate valve off.”

“We’ve turned the water off now what we need to drain it out, just waiting for the waiter to come out it’s just the pipes draining and what we’re going to do is pop the top off the side of the tap we’re changing, put that to one side, you have a little screw in the top there which we need to unscrew turn it anti-clockwise.”

“Once that’s done the head of the tap should come off, it can be a little bit difficult to come off so you just give it some force if need be, then what we need to do is take this tap reviver out here, so get your adjustable spanners, set them to the right size and turn in an anti-clockwise fashion you may need to support your tap with a pair of grips, to stop the tap from moving, then what you’ll need to do is get your new tap reviver and change it in its place you may find that the seat of the tap has a gauze in it, like a slit in it so therefore you will need a tap receipting tool, you need to grind this out and then put your new tap insert in, it screws in like so, clockwise, nip it up with your adjustable spanner and then place on you tap head make sure you put it on the right way round make sure it’s on the off position, there we go, tighten the screw back up, clockwise, you need to place the cap back on like so, then turn your water back on and you and you change your tap and hide it.”
