Park Gardens local area

The picturesque market town of Banbury is the ideal setting for your new retirement home. Situated next to the People’s Park, Park Gardens is less than a mile from the town centre with it’s pedestrianised high street offering a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Nearby shops and useful services include Dunelm, Homebase, B&Q, Hillier Garden Centre, Castle Quay shopping centre, Morrisons, Aldi, Waitrose and Sainsburys, as well as a selection of healthcare facilities.

Banbury has so much to offer from its popular farmers market held on Thursdays and Saturdays to narrowboat trips down the Oxford canal amongst the area’s most popular attractions.

The town centre also benefits from its own railway station, with regular services to Birmingham in under an hour and London Marylebone in 55 minutes, along with other major destinations such as Southampton Central, Bournemouth, Reading, Manchester and Edinburgh via Leeds.
