If your boiler needs it's pressure topping up, this video will take you through the process step-by-step.

Step one: Check for low pressure

If your boiler has lost pressure, you will see a fault code flashing on the LCD screen.

Step two: Locate the filling loop

Underneath your boiler, two black taps should be attached to a filling loop.

Step four: Open the taps

Open one of the black taps slowly, then open the other one slowly. You should hear water flowing into your boiler.

Step five: Monitor the pressure

On the screen, there are two ways to check the pressure:

  • There's a  solid line that rises above a dotted line. As soon as the solid line rises above the dotted line, your boiler will start, and the fault code will clear.
  • Press any of the four buttons, and you will get a blue back screen. Pushing the button with the radiator symbol twice will show you the pressure in figures.

Step six: Turn off the taps

Once you get to about 1.5 bar, turn the tap off. It’s important to turn both taps off because if you leave them open even slightly, your boiler will go to over-pressure.
