  • You need to be aged over 55 and living within the area of the village you are applying for (or at least have a family connection to the area). There is no upper age limit for interested residents.

  • To ensure our community remains a diverse place to live, we like our residents to be from a range of different age groups over 55. This includes people who are fit and mobile as well as people with care needs (up to a third of our residents are in receipt of an assessed care package). We also need to ensure that a person can afford the property before accepting them.

  • Yes, you are responsible for paying your own council tax bill.

  • The upkeep and use of the facilities are covered within your service charge. Meals and entertainment are set at an affordable level and you can pay this on a pay-as-you-go basis. You can also use the gym for a small additional charge.

  • Yes, your pet would be welcome, provided that they are well-behaved and you are able to manage your pet’s requirements. You will need to make full arrangements to have your pet cared for if you are unwell or away.

  • Beacon Court has a communal car park. You can secure an allocated parking space at a monthly cost if you need to.

  • Yes, there will be a guest suite and visitors will be welcome to use them. Charges will be set at an affordable cost.

  • Of course. Bromford will ensure there is a care provider on-site. If you need care you will be assessed by Wolverhampton City Council and the care provider and agreed with you. Care can range from a little help daily to help during the day and night time. Each package will be tailored to you and delivered within your own home.
