- Berkeley Close
We have reviewed our homes at Berkeley Close to assess whether they meet the needs of our customers, now and in the future.
The houses, flats, and bungalows at Berkeley Close were built using a concrete non-traditional construction style called Reema, which means that they are not made with a conventional brick or timber frame structure. After considering the future maintenance requirements for these homes and we concluded that investing in new energy-efficient homes is the best long-term option for both us and our customers.
With this in mind, we propose to redevelop the homes that we own in Berkeley Close so that we can build new modern, energy-efficient homes in place of the existing. We have drawn up initial plans for the regeneration of the site and aim to submit a planning application in summer 2023.
