To help raise awareness for affordable warmth, we have created a new video that helps train and raise awareness for our colleagues and customers. We didn’t want just anyone acting in this short film, so alongside our professional actor we had Wendy from Wolverhampton, a customer playing the part of a customer! The idea of the filming was for it to be as close to reality as possible, so we asked Wendy if she was up for the challenge of acting on film.

Wendy said:

I was hesitant at first, but once I thought about it, I thought why not? I’ll give it a go. I used to work for a media production company so I’m familiar with the way things worked behind the scenes, like the autocue and production… but I was surprised at having the opportunity. I never associated something like this with Bromford, I’m really impressed with what they do.

Wendy quickly made friends with our ‘pro’ actor Mal. Mal gave Wendy some pointers and was so impressed that she even passed on the details for her own agent so Wendy could find further paid work.

Wendy added:

I’m so pleased that I got involved today, it’s so easy, I just had a phone call from Matt from the feedback team and the rest was done. I’d really encourage anyone to get involved.
