Bromford legal restructure

The content in this article may now be out of date. Please try searching for a more recent version.

We are consulting with our customers on a proposal to change our legal structure by merging Fosseway Housing Association with Bromford Housing Association.

If the changes go ahead, they would be the final stage of an amalgamation which started in 2011 when Bromford Carinthia Housing and HomeZone were brought together to create Bromford Housing Association.

Brigid Burbridge, head of governance, said: “We always planned to merge Fosseway with Bromford but the decision was deferred until we could clarify a number of technical issues.

“By bringing the structure of the two associations together, we'll save time and money - cutting down on duplication, reducing the admin burden of the two entities and we'll also improve our financial risk management.”

There will be no change in the way we deliver services to our customers. The only difference will be a change of landlord name for our Fosseway customers.

The customer consultation will run from 17 October until noon on 24 November.
