Bromford is hosting a networking event in Birmingham with 15 other support agencies on 23 May to publicise help available for vulnerable people.
The event is a way to get different agencies, professionals and authorities working together and using each other to achieve better outcomes for those in need of support. Chris Hughes, support worker for Bromford summarised: “Individually, all services do amazing work but we felt that we could do so much more if we worked together and shared knowledge. Myself and two other colleagues, Cain Deeley and Gary Whitehouse, have worked together to make this happen and we look forward to this event being the start of changing peoples lives for the better.”
The event will be held at the Salvation Army in St Chads, Birmingham from 2pm till 4pm and there is still time for other agencies to get involved. Refreshments will be available.
Chris continued: “We have a number of contracts across Birmingham to help teen families, young people, those with learning disabilities, homeless and sheltered accommodation. We work in partnership with several agencies but we are looking to reach more people so want to hear from anyone who can help in these areas. Our aim is to let more people know how we can support them and how they can be referred to us.”
Everyone is welcome to come along and interested agencies can contact Bromford’s support team on 0121 772 8682 or email@example.com
