Bromford’s support team in Daventry is leading a flash mob in Northampton’s town centre Abington Street on Friday, 6 December at 2pm to raise awareness of the services it and other agencies provides to support people in a number of ways.

Karen Clarke, senior support worker for Bromford’s Daventry team said:

“This is a fun way to reach out to people and we’re very excited that we have sourced a choreographer from the Paralympic opening ceremony who has offered us rehearsal sessions.*

“Anyone who is vulnerable can feel even more isolated at this time of year and we are delighted that other agencies are joining in to let people know about the range of support services available to them.”

The agencies involved will be Air Ambulance, Children’s Rights Service, Low Down (supporting young people) and Short Term Team (supporting mental health).

Karen concluded: “If anyone wants to get involved we’d love to hear from them – the more the merrier!”

* Rehearsals will be taking place on Monday, 2nd and Thursday, 5th December at Roadmender, 1 Lady’s Lane, Northampton, NN1 3AH. The Daventry team can be contacted on 01327 701327.
