Oli turns homelessness around

Nineteen year-old Oli is a resident at Ark House, supported housing for homeless young people in Stroud. He describes being homeless as ‘bleak’ but things are turning around now as he plans to go to university in September and ultimately to work in the music industry.

Despite being homeless, Oli hasn’t let it get him down and has recently designed a logo for a new café at Ark House. He says: “I would say to people not to get stuck and feel as if you’re going nowhere. You’ve got to get proactive and not feel sorry for yourself but do something about it.”
