Stephen, 41, is now more settled in his life after moving to Tivoli Court, Solihull, Bromford’s supported accommodation for adults with learning difficulties. Living with his parents till his late thirties, he was vulnerable and anxious when he first came to the scheme but is now thriving.

He says: “I am now feeling so happy. Life is like a journey – what’s in the past and has made me angry is gone. I now want to step in the right direction and build my confidence. I am meeting new friends and going to college.”
