After facing years of personal adversity, including losing his mother two years ago, Richard rarely left his home and suffered from depression and severe phobias. Living in a run-down bedsit with graffiti across the walls, Richard needed someone to help him.

This is where Richard's support worker, Anna Mitchell, stepped in and volunteered the time of her team and the support of local charities to give Richard's home a makeover, changing his outlook on life for the future…
