Bromford’s Retirement Living development brings something distinct to the market – an aspirational independent living experience for older people that builds on our trusted reputation and customer service. We can achieve this by having created a model which differs from our competitors in terms of the approach to development, on site services and marketing.
Good quality retirement living sites for schemes of circa 70 apartments will be located in a prominent position amidst other residential development with good access to local services including shops and GP’s.
Our model is based on a 60 unit apartment scheme (1/3rd rent, 1/3rd shared ownership and 1/3rd outright sales) but would not discount both larger and smaller schemes that are viable and affordable in the longer term against agreed parameters. However, we do not propose to build big care villages of 150-250 units as we consider that this segment of the market is covered by other established providers.
