Currently 9.3 million households are headed by a person over retirement age. By 2033, this is expected to increase to 13 million which is an increase of 40 per cent on figures for 2008.

With this in mind Bromford’s Retirement Living model is aimed at providing older people, aged over 55, with a happy, safe and secure environment through home ownership, part ownership and affordable rent options.

Each development will offer a range of one and two-bedroom modern, attractive apartments set within a community with many facilities including a café, hairdressers, gym, village hall and activity area which are surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens and just a short walk to local services including shops and GP’s.  Our customers will live in a safe and secure environment with additional professional on-site care provision if and when customers feel they need additional support whilst being able to remain in their own home.

These quality retirement living sites of around 60 apartments of which 1/3 will be for rent, 1/3 for shared ownership and 1/3 will be available to purchase outright, will allow customers to downsize and free up some money to enable them to enjoy life to the fullest.

Our first flagship retirement living development on Vernon Road will use part of the existing school house building on the site of the old Stourport primary school and will offer 60 independent, high quality retirement living apartments for older people aged over 55. Our team

We will have a great team working within each of our Bromford retirement living developments. Some will work directly for us and others will work in partnership.
