Investor relations

Our history from 1963 when we were formed to 2023 when we had 46,437 homes

With more than 46,000 homes across the West Midlands and West of England we are one of the top 15 housing associations in the country.

Bromford was formed in 1963, with an objective to meet the growing demand for housing across the West Midlands and surrounding area, and over the past 60 years has grown organically and through partnerships and mergers, to now have individual relationships with more than 110,000 customers.

Overview

  • We own or manage over 46,000 homes in the West Midlands and West of England, with over 50% of our homes in our top four areas (South Gloucestershire, Tewkesbury, Cotswold, and Lichfield)
  • We invest in our homes and relationships so that people can thrive and our customer advocacy score at 30 September 2023 was 89%
  • We are delivering our 2023-2027 corporate strategy with a focus on place, scale and impact as we continue to deliver our core business of social housing
  • We lead our own sustainability agenda and our accredited 2023 Sustainable Finance Framework is driven by our corporate strategy, which in turn drives our sustainability linked loans
  • We continue in ambitions to deliver 12,000 new homes by 2031, and we are a key strategic partner to Homes England
  • We maintain our sector-leading dual credit rating platform (A+/A2), and we maintain the highest regulatory ratings (G1 / V1)
