How to adjust a UPVC window latch

Adjusting your window latch can be as simple as tightening some screws within the window handles. Fix your window latch by watching our step-by-step video. You will need a screw driver!

“I’m here today to show you how to tighten up a window handle on your UPVC window if it’s loose, like this.”

“The first thing you’ll have to do is to remove this screw cover, here. To do this, you’ll need a flat head screwdriver, a small one. It should just prise off, like so.”

“Once you’ve done this, it will expose a screw that will need to be tightened. You do this by turning it clockwise. Once you’ve done that one, open the handle where it will expose another screw underneath, you do the same thing to this one.”

“Once you’ve done that, the handle will be nice and secure. You then need to put the screw cover back on by simply pushing it back in.”
